About Kato (sponsored fee)
Kato came to MCHS in May 2025 as an owner surrender due to rental property restrictions. He's a German shepherd/pit bull mix who is now 3 years old, after being at our shelter for over a year. He's friendly, strong, and active. He's also really handsome! Just don't tell him that - we don't want it to go to his head. Kato has been vet checked, neutered, and microchipped, and his fee of $150 is sponsored by the business, "Exceptional Pet Waste Removal". Kato has had some training and knows some basic commands. He does forget his manners sometimes as he's overwhelmed with enthusiastic affection. We do think he has the potential to do okay with a well mannered female dog. He should be okay with older kids. He has been nonchalant and non-reactive around cats. He's bright and eager to please and tries really hard to be a lap dog sometimes. NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment…
