About Phoenix
Phoenix is an absolutely stunning boy, hard to believe what he's been through in such a short time. His road to us was rough like most rescue stories are but he faced euthanasia twice, although never seeing the inside of a shelter and barely over a year old. Phoenix had a family who thought they were doing the right thing by sending him to doggy boot camp, but when he came back from 6 weeks of training, he wasn't better or the same as when he left. He was fearful and his behaviors his family had hoped training would fix, were now worse. They looked for a new home for him to avoid what they felt was their only solution. Phoenix found a new home with a rambunctious family who had another dog and kids.
