About June Carter Cash
We originally rescued June along with her littermates back in 2019 when they were all just cute little puppies. It was believed that the parents were probably some mix of Great Pyrenees, Anatolian Shepherd, and possibly Akbash. June and her sister Tanya Tucker look very much like Akbash dogs, while three others look like Great Pyrenees and two more look like Anatolians. We can't say for sure what's in their DNA, except June is 100% good girl. June was adopted as a puppy and grew up on a cattle ranch. She was happy in that life, but when her family sold the cattle and moved into the city, she was NOT so happy. She dug under the fence multiple times, and the family was worried that she could get hit by a car in their suburban neighborhood. So with sadness, they brought her back to us. Here, June has seemed very happy in the house. We're not sure whether it was just the noise of the city…
