About Bentley
Bentley’s journey to rescue is one of survival, healing, and second chances. Bentley suffered a brutal attack by another dog that left him with a serious wound. His family immediately sought emergency veterinary care, where the injury was cleaned and Bentley was sent home. Unfortunately, the wound later became severely infected and it became clear that he needed much more extensive medical treatment. His family tried to get him the help he needed, but as Bentley’s condition became more complicated, his care became overwhelming. With few options left, they made the heartbreaking decision to surrender him to their local animal shelter. Because of the severity of his injuries and the level of medical care he required, Bentley was immediately placed on the euthanasia list.
