About Jeanne
My name is Jeanne! I'm a 10-year-old beagle, weighing in at 26 pounds. I've come a long way since I became an Angel dog with a severe medical condition called IMHA - Immune medicated hemolytic anemia that affected my liver. I'm told that I have had the best medical care in my last 2 years with the rescue ranging from multiple ER visits, regular vet appointments, specialist and continual labs with follow up appointments, along with prescription medications. With this life changing event with my liver, I will have to remain on a liver protectant the rest of my life and I cannot have vaccines for the rest of my life due to the possibility of causing a relapse. I know it is a huge commitment, but I will have "extra requirements for my ongoing care" for the rest of my life including recheck of a CBC (complete blood count) every 3 to 6 months working closely with my veterinarian and avoiding…
