Meet Comet. A Good Samaritan stepped in after realizing that a large group of adult dogs and puppies living in a home, who had too many dogs, had become seriously ill with parvovirus. The homeowners agreed to surrender the dogs to us so they could finally receive the care they desperately needed. Comet arrived with his sister, at only 10 weeks old, and both puppies were extremely sick. They were immediately taken to our vet for treatment, but sadly, despite everyone’s best efforts, Comet’s sister passed away the following morning. Somehow, sweet little Comet fought his way through parvo and is now healthy, happy, and ready to find the loving home he has always deserved. Comet is a Shih Tzu/Maltese mix who is nothing but LOVE.
