Toby is looking for a HERO! Today has waited 3 long years for you to find him. Toby was failed so many times. Turned into a shelter with his brother in Florida and was adopted by a couple who moved to PA and left him tied in a carport. He managed to escape, and a kind gentleman housed him overnight until we could try to find his owner. In the morning, we picked him up, and on our way to the rescue, his owner contacted us. We went to meet with them and when told where he was staying, we asked if they would prefer to surrender instead of him living outside all alone. They agreed to surrender and then handed up the paperwork from the shelter. That is when we realized, this poor boy was heartworm positive.
