About Callahan
Callahan came to the shelter on 4/7/2026 from the city pound when his stray hold was finished. He is pure energy in canine form. He is 12 to 18 months old and looks to be a pit bull type mix, maybe with a smaller breed like rat terrier or Jack Russell. He definitely has all the bells and whistles of a young, active dog. He has been vet checked, neutered, and microchipped, and his fee is $150. Callahan needs someone who is ready, willing, and able to provide him with the training and exercise that he needs. He's a friendly guy but has obviously forgotten where his manners are, if he ever had them. However, the kid has potential (we're optimists). We think he'll be a lot of fun for someone. He really has a happy go lucky personality. Callahan would do best in a home without small kids. We're not yet sure how he would do with other dogs. Cats are most likely a no.
