About Ollie
Ollie was a little bit timid when we first pulled him out of a small rural shelter, but my goodness has he come out of his shell! He is friendly to the point of being exuberant -- he wants nothing more than for his people to love him -- hug him, pet him, tell him what a good boy he is. Ollie is still learning the OFF command -- in his excitement he wants to jump up on people, but he's getting much better. He already knows to SIT for treats and for his food bowl to be put down. Ollie gets along well with other dogs, both male and female. During his time with us, he has shared the play yard with a few different Great Pyrenees, Akbash dogs, a Bernese Mountain Dog, and even a Flat-Coat Retriever mix. So he doesn't seem to discriminate based on breed or color. Ollie seems to ignore our little Yorkie, and he has previously lived in a home with a dog-savvy cat. He even goes into our chicken…
