Meet BIRDIE — a little lap dog with a splash of adventure! Birdie is a 3-year-old Yorkie/Shih Tzu mix weighing approximately 12–15 pounds. With her blonde-and-brown coat and love of both cuddles and playtime, she’s ready to bring some sunshine to her next family. Her previous family describes her as house-trained, leash-trained, crate-trained, and comfortable riding in the car. She loves toys, enjoys children, and is reported to be cat-friendly. Her favorite pastime? Playing in the water! After the fun, she’s happy to settle into a lap—and she’s accustomed to sleeping in bed with her person.
