Meet Smokey – Your Gentle Giant with a Heart of Gold Smokey is an 8-year-old, 65 lb Mountain Cur/Hound mix who is searching for a soft, loving place to land and a forever family to call his own. This sweet boy is the definition of gentle—calm, affectionate, and endlessly kind. If Smokey had his way, he’d happily be a 65-pound lap dog, soaking up every bit of love you’re willing to give. Smokey is housebroken, social, and gets along beautifully with other dogs. He has an easygoing nature and a tender soul that makes him a joy to have around. Whether it’s quietly keeping you company or leaning in for affection, Smokey’s presence is comforting and full of love. Smokey is currently undergoing heartworm treatment, which the rescue will continue to fully cover.
